We Can Tell You Everything About Matterport

Create Your Virtual Tour Professionally

everything you need to know before Hiring A Matterport Technician

What is a Matterport 3D Showcase?

It’s a fully interactive, 360 degree, 3-dimensional representation of the interior which allows the viewer to “walk” through the property, look up and down, and move from floor to floor. A digital twin, created by Nuvo360, of your property, space or portion of place.

Which rooms are included?

We will scan any accessible parts of the space where the Matterport camera and tripod can be safely positioned. In most commercial spaces, closets and utility rooms are generally not captured but by request can be added to final product. Unfinished spaces are usually not included unless otherwise requested. When capturing, doors must be open to area we are creating virtual tour in as well as doors connecting to rooms attached. Outdoor areas are typically captured by 360° Photos and added to virtual tour. If outdoor area is of great importance, it can be captured utilizing additional equipment but must be planned in advance. Please note that we will scan as much as possible in order to have a more complete floorplan and dollhouse view, but scans of certain rooms can be disabled if you don’t wish to have them accessible in the walkthrough.

How long does it take to scan a property?

Length of the shoot varies depending on conditions such as lighting and layout but, generally, you should anticipate 45 minutes per 1,000 square feet.

If I see something in the model that I don’t want to show, can it be edited?

Yes and No. Unlike still photos, Matterport models cannot be edited, however, we can turn off spaces to prevent travel in final model. In addition, a blur can be added to tour for faces that are recognizable by camera. When in doubt, plan on preparing space for full capture.
